The individual components are studied in preclinical models involving fibroblast migration, extracellular-matrix remodeling, endothelial signaling, and tissue-response pathways. Published evidence for BPC-157 is largely cell and animal based, and findings for full-length thymosin beta-4 should not automatically be treated as evidence for a product labeled TB-500.
